Gentle exfoliant in serum form. Contains Alpha Hydroxy Acid and Hyaluronic Acid 10% Mandelic Acid and Hyaluronic Acid provide a gentler superficial exfoliation of the skin than other Alpha Hydroxy Acids. The molecular weight of Mandelic Acid is 152.1 Daltons, which is larger than other Alpha Hydroxy Acids (eg: Glycolic Acid 76.0 Daltons). This large size allows Mandelic Acid to penetrate the skin more slowly, making it very gentle and suitable for all skin types. You do not need a concentration higher than 10%, as you will get the indirect exfoliation power that is more readily received by the skin with lower levels of Glycolic Acid. Note: While exfoliating acids can lead to quick visible benefits, we generally recommend using indirect means of exfoliating the skin rather than direct means like this formula due to the potential inflammation and sensitivity associated with acids.
